Lip Dubbing

My NYC brother-in-law introduced me to Vimeo so I could see my niece and nephews latest videos. Now, after a few months of watching his vimeo and the "likes" he'd taged, I decided to join in the fun and sign up to vimeo (it's free). First I watched creative video 'movies' and things set to music but then I came across lip dubbing. I am HOOKED! There are great artistic things on vimeo -- but the lip dubbing is what entertains me now. Here are my two favorites:

I admire his talent and spunk to lip dub on a NYC subway with NO ONE hearing any music but him. All the bystanders see is a guy singing to a camera while taking his clothes off. Typical for NYC subway I suppose.


Josh is the envy of everyone who ever took piano lessons and quit (me). I love his ability to play and how the ipod music makes it straight out of a movie.

Some day we'll get a video camera so I can create something longer than 10 seconds on a cheap cannon. Who knows, maybe I'm a lip dubber in the making!

I laughed so hard I cried...

Funny how you read a family member's post and you find yourself wandering the abyss of blogs and connecting to those you will never meet. My wandering proved to me that there are some extremely clever and creative people out there and I can enjoy a good laugh right here at the computer. I am loving this "high-tech" world -- and now that the kids are older I can actually spend time learning and laughing out there.

Welcome Davis Alden Greider!

My sister, Hallie Greider, gave birth to her fourth baby today! I am so proud of her gentle birth ways and applaud her patience in Davis' long arrival! Wish I could have been there at her homebirth -- but she surrounded herself with the best of the best. Can't wait to meet this precious new addition!

Baking Cookies

Here I am. Left with the aftermath of "Lets bake cookies Mama!" They can measure, mix, eat, lick the spoons but after the first batch goes in -- they are off to play while I finish the rest of the baking. Still -- what a precious time with the kiddos.
